Considering The Two Towers was the darker of the three movies, I am surprised that I could not come up with a sad enough scene to top the others!!  As always, if your saddest scene is not there, please let us know what it was!!!

Definetly the Grey Havens!! I guess I should've been a little more specific!! I know what you mean, I never cry watching movies but that last scene really tugged at my heartsrtings......ya...I was definetly teary-eyed!!!!  |

That was so sad............it takes me a long long time for me to cry and Grey Havens was making my teary-eyed, if the scene was longer I would've been crying for sure  Laitorni |

I agree! It isn't fair!! It would be cool if they lived in our time, right now ..............but do they not? With everyone who talks about them, writes about them, learns about them, and dreams to be them, they do live on in us all!! And hopefully always will

I just thought of a sad scene that really got to me....the sequence of Elrond talking to Arwen about her future with Aragorn (TTT) That was sooo sad, especially when you realize that that is indeed her fate
Also the sequence in RotK when she has the vision of Aragorn and the son she would never have if she left Middle-earth. 25 minutes into the movie and they already had me all choked up!

Yeah you are right the Elves live in us............
I didn't really find that a sad scene.........probably because I'm not really an Aragorn fan......... I liked the part when she proves her father wrong. "You said there was only death here, but you also saw life."

No doubt! Poor Faramir indeed, that definetly was really sad. Wait till the extended version of RotK..........!!!!! There is a really awsome music video about Faramir, Boromir and Denethor, made by Uruviel at the "Argonath" site. She makes really great vidoes! She has a whole bunch and is continuously making more!
